Background of the Role

As a Project Manager at our SaaS-based IoT Company, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of customer projects related to the implementation of our IoT solutions. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of SaaS and IoT technologies, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Desired Profile

1. Project Planning:
   1. Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
   2. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   1. Collaborate with sales, customer onboarding, product development, and technical support teams to ensure alignment on project goals and customer expectations.
   2. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members.
3. Customer Communication:
   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the project lifecycle.
   2. Communicate project status, milestones, and any potential issues to customers in a clear and timely manner.
4. Resource Management:
   1. Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the availability of necessary personnel and technology for project implementation.
   2. Manage project budgets, timelines, and scope changes.
5. Risk Management:
   1. Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
   2. Develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
6. Quality Assurance:
   1. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards.
   2. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
7. Stakeholder Engagement:
   1. Engage with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to gather requirements and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
   2. Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
   1. Generate regular reports on project status, progress, and key performance indicators.
   2. Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reference and auditing purposes.
9. Continuous Improvement:
   1. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the project management framework.
   2. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Nice To Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the SaaS or IoT industry.
• Strong understanding of SaaS and IoT technologies.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
